The simplex sensor with plate mounting connection is designed for accurate and reliable temperature measurement on flat or plate-like surfaces. The RTD element maintains direct contact with the surface, enabling consistent temperature monitoring for industrial equipment and process applications.
This simplex sensor is available with a Pt100 simplex or duplex element and supports a temperature range of -70 to 500°C. The probe is available in 5 or 6 mm diameter, with lengths from 25 to 200 mm. The plate size is 50 mm (L) × 20 mm (W), while wire lengths can range from 0.5 to 10 metres.
The sensor supports 2-wire, 3-wire, and 4-wire configurations. A 3 wire RTD connection is commonly used where improved measurement accuracy is required by reducing the effect of lead-wire resistance. The three wire temperature sensor configuration also supports convenient integration with compatible temperature controllers and monitoring systems.
