The RTD sensor with nipple-union-nipple connection is designed for accurate and reliable temperature measurement in pipelines, vessels, and industrial process systems. This connection arrangement provides a secure installation while allowing the sensor to be easily removed for inspection, maintenance, or replacement.
The nipple union nipple configuration consists of two threaded nipples connected through a union fitting. This union nipple connection allows convenient installation and removal without requiring major changes to the process piping. The sensor can be securely positioned within the connection for dependable temperature measurement.
Available in RTD, J, and K elements with simplex or duplex configurations, the sensor supports temperature ranges of -50 to 500°C, 0 to 600°C, and up to 1200°C, depending on the sensing element. Sheath diameters include 6, 8, and 10 mm, with probe lengths from 50 to 5000 mm. Optional 1/2 BSP and NPT thread sizes are available.
