The Plastic Head Sensor with Teflon Coated Titanium Sheath is designed for accurate and reliable temperature measurement in corrosive chemical and industrial environments. Its chemically resistant construction makes it suitable for processes where conventional metal sensors may be exposed to aggressive chemicals.
This head temperature sensor features a Pt100 (Simplex or Duplex) element with a temperature range of -50°C to 400°C. It is available in probe lengths of 100, 150, 200, 250, and 300 mm, with a durable PVC plastic head for secure protection and convenient installation. The sensor provides Class A accuracy as per IEC 60751 for precise and repeatable temperature measurement.
The probe can be supplied with Teflon or titanium sheath materials, offering excellent resistance to corrosion and demanding process conditions. While Teflon coating on stainless steel is also used for chemical-resistant applications, titanium provides excellent mechanical strength and durability where required.
